Elon Musk's ChatGPT rival Grok has been made open source!

Elon Musk had announced that he would make Grok, the first chatbot of the artificial intelligence company xAI which he founded, open source. Now, Grok, a direct competitor to ChatGPT, has been shared on GitHub with all of its code.

According to information from Donanımhaber, although xAI is still a small company, it is important for it to harness the power of open source while competing with rivals such as OpenAI, Meta, and Google. This will make it easier to determine how Grok will be updated in the future.

xAI released Grok in November 2023 and announced that the model had been developed over the last four months. Grok targets uses such as code generation, creative writing, and answering questions, which shows that it has similar capabilities to ChatGPT.
