Expectations grow for the new Apple TV 4K: Siri AI, a more powerful chip, and Wi-Fi 7 on the agenda

Claims regarding the Apple TV 4K model, which has been expected to be refreshed for some time, are back on the agenda. Recent leaks suggest that the device may stand out not only with a performance boost but also with a new AI-powered Siri experience and updated connectivity technologies.

The new model, which was expected to be introduced last fall but was reportedly delayed, is expected to occupy a more central position in Apple's home entertainment and smart home product strategy. It is stated that the company aims to make Apple TV a smarter media hub, particularly by bringing Apple Intelligence and Siri AI features to this product family.

EXPECTATIONS FOR A NEW CHIP AND UPDATED REMOTE

One of the most notable topics regarding the new Apple TV 4K will be the upgrade on the processor side. A more powerful A-series chip is expected to replace the A15 Bionic used in current models. While A17 Pro or A18 options had previously been discussed, it is also being evaluated that Apple might opt for a more current A19 or A20 series processor.

It is reported that if this chip, which is said to have been used for the first time in the iPhone 17 series, is brought to the new Apple TV 4K, the device will gain Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support.
