Playing the game is quite simple; go to your direct messages and select the person you want to send a message to. Then, add an emoji to the message and send it; when you tap on the sent emoji, you will be directed to the emoji game. The emojis sent by users will move at the bottom of the screen, and you will need to bounce them back.
Since the game has a structure that gets harder as you earn points, you may want to play again. However, the emoji game is not yet accessible to every user; some users are currently able to experience the game.
