Honor has announced its new budget-focused smartphone, the Play 20A model. The device aims to differentiate itself in the entry-level segment with its secondary display located on the rear surface and a 6000 mAh capacity battery.
The Honor Play 20A features a 6.9-inch IPS display. The panel, which has a 90Hz refresh rate, aims to offer a smoother scrolling and viewing experience in daily use. The thin-bezel design combines large-screen usage with a sleek body.
KEY FEATURES
On the hardware side, the phone is powered by the MediaTek G81 processor. This chipset is positioned for web browsing, messaging, social media applications, and basic daily tasks. While the model offers 128GB of internal storage, it is stated that the capacity can be increased up to 1TB with microSD card support.
A fingerprint reader integrated into the side frame has been chosen for security. The device's 6000 mAh battery stands out as one of the primary features appealing to users looking for longer usage time on a large-screen phone.
The small screen on the back of the Play 20A can be used for functions such as viewing notifications and accessing media controls, as well as for taking selfies. Users can track the frame on this screen while taking photos with the 13-megapixel main camera.
It has been announced that the Honor Play 20A will be available in three color options: Midnight Black, Light Blue, and Starry Purple. The company has not yet shared official information regarding the device's price and release date.
