Google Bard is offering its users a new experience by adding an image generation feature. This feature provides an advantage similar to the image generation capability of ChatGPT, which has so far only been available to paid users. Bard's image generation feature can be used completely free of charge and offers an option that can compete with paid models like DALL-E 3.
The Google Bard update has brought Gemini Pro to all languages while also giving the chatbot the ability to generate images. Users can type the details into the chat to create the image they want and see the results within a few seconds.
Google Bard uses a text-to-image generation model called "Imagen 2" for image production. Google states that this model can produce higher-quality images compared to its previous version and understands prompts better. On the other hand, it is emphasized that Bard's image generation is safe; it aims to provide a secure experience by filtering out content such as violence, aggression, and sexually explicit material.
Bard's image generation feature is currently only available in English. It is not yet clear when support for other languages will arrive.
