Apple released iOS 17.1 a short while ago. This update specifically addressed issues experienced on iPhones. Having focused more on fixing existing problems rather than introducing many new features, Apple is now preparing to bring new features with the iOS 17.2 beta version.
FEATURES TO BE INTRODUCED WITH IOS 17.2
While it will be possible to create collaborative playlists on Apple Music, the Journal app, which will be used as a digital diary, is also arriving. Journal will be able to use photos, voice recordings, and location data.
To reduce the risk of cyberattacks, a contact key verification feature will be introduced in iMessage. This will allow users to verify whether the person they are communicating with is indeed the person they intend to reach.
In addition to these, we will encounter location-based emergency alerts, a revamped Apple TV app, and detailed weather widgets.
