WhatsApp has announced the "chat lock" feature. Users will now be able to lock any chat they choose.

To enable chat lock, follow these steps:

On your mobile device, swipe left on the chat you want to lock or press and hold it. Then, tap on "more options" or "more options > Lock Chat". Afterward, enable the chat lock using your fingerprint or Face ID.

Additionally, you can lock your chats with a secret code that is different from your phone's password. To do this, go to the "Locked Chats" folder, select "Settings", and tap on the "Create Secret Code" option. Finally, confirm the created code to complete the process.
