A major gathering from ARGEMİP: Innovations in R&D and design discussed

The "R&D and Design Centers Meeting," organized by the R&D and Design Centers Communication and Cooperation Platform (ARGEMİP), took place on May 16, 2025, at the Teknopark Istanbul Turgut Özal Event Center. While the event brought together leading figures in the sector, comprehensive evaluations were made regarding innovations, incentives, and collaborations in the fields of R&D and design.

The meeting began with welcome and registration procedures at 09:00. Following this, the program proceeded at 10:00 with the opening speech by ARGEMİP Executive Board Chairman Okan Özkan. At 10:15, officials from the General Directorate of R&D Incentives provided information regarding incentives and support.

In the later hours of the event, participants had the opportunity to meet and network during a coffee and interaction break. In the Q&A session, questions directed by R&D and Design Centers to the General Directorate of R&D Incentives were addressed.

INDUSTRY GIANTS UNDERTAKE SPONSORSHIP

At the meeting, where VBT Yazılım and Siemens undertook event sponsorship, Migros also supported the participants as the catering sponsor.

The R&D and Design Centers Meeting attracted widespread interest for bringing sector representatives together under the same roof and increasing cooperation opportunities. At the event, topics such as accelerating R&D processes, more effective use of incentives, and the implementation of new projects were comprehensively discussed.
