The artificial intelligence platform ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, has made a major leap with a 50 million increase in its weekly user count over the last two months.

It has been reported that 250 million weekly users worldwide are using the platform for work, creativity, and learning purposes.

According to OpenAI's latest statement, this increase shows that interest in the platform is growing rapidly. The number of weekly users, which was 200 million at the end of August, has doubled by November.

Investor interest is also increasing in parallel with this growth. The company recently received a new investment of 6.6 billion dollars.

THE BIGGEST FACTOR IS THE OPENING OF SCHOOLS

The opening of schools and students starting to use ChatGPT for their homework stands out as a significant factor in this sharp increase in the number of users.

Furthermore, OpenAI's integration into Apple's intelligence system is planned for the future, which indicates that the platform's user count could experience further growth.

Although there is no precise data on how much ChatGPT is used for free or paid services, the rapid spread of the service is remarkable. According to the report by Chip, this growth is attributed to ChatGPT's wide range of use cases and its accessibility.
