Meta has brought together the country's young content creators for the 'Memory Gate of Civilizations' project.

In collaboration with UNDP Turkey and Koç University KARMA Lab, 3 AR filters have been developed that can reflect the pre-earthquake appearance of city landmarks affected by the recent earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş and its surrounding areas.

AIMING TO REVITALIZE TOURISM

Collaborating with Instagram to spread the project's message, Yeşim Sevinç, Emir Elidemir, and Yeliz Korkmaz aim to encourage their followers to visit the Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, and Hatay regions affected by the earthquakes and to revitalize tourism through engaging content using these filters in their shared Reels videos.

The project emphasizes the importance of uniting and protecting cultural values after disasters by using the power of Instagram.
