According to a report by Bloomberg, Microsoft and ChatGPT developer OpenAI are planning to invest $500 million in a startup focused on humanoid robot technology.
It was stated that the company, named Figure AI, aims to deploy autonomous humanoid workers globally and is currently valued at $1.9 billion. It was also reported that OpenAI previously invested in another humanoid robot startup called 1X Technologies.
