According to a report by BBC Turkish, Microsoft plans to demonstrate the experience provided by the new Copilot key at the CES fair, which will begin next week in Las Vegas.
Among Copilot's notable capabilities are recording meetings to generate summaries and preparing presentations. Microsoft defines Copilot as an artificial intelligence ready for use at any moment.
Technology giant Microsoft has announced that it is adding a new key to Windows PC and laptop keyboards that will summon its artificial intelligence assistant. With the key, which will be present on new Windows 11 PCs, Microsoft's new artificial intelligence application, Copilot, can be activated.
OpenAI is behind Copilot's artificial intelligence capacity. Microsoft is the largest investor in this company, which is among the pioneers of artificial intelligence. Copilot will assist with tasks such as search engine usage, email writing, and image creation.
Microsoft Executive Vice President Yusuf Mehdi described the implementation of the Copilot key as a "transformative moment." The company hopes that user experience will be "simplified" and "enhanced" thanks to this innovation.
New keyboards will begin to appear on products after February. According to a report published by Goldman Sachs in March 2023, generative artificial intelligence could perform a quarter of all current jobs. It is estimated that automation could take the jobs of 300 million people in the US and European Union member countries alone.
On the other hand, some experts still point out that there are jobs that artificial intelligence cannot do. These are generally jobs that require human-specific traits such as emotional intelligence or creative thinking.
