Steps may have been taken for the long-awaited dislike button for X. As noticed, the new button will be available for posts and replies. The feature, spotted in the iOS version of the app, will allow users to react to posts they do not like.
DISLIKE BUTTON ON THE WAY TO X
Before Twitter became X, it was stated that a dislike button would be coming to the platform. However, there had been no developments on the matter. This dislike button, newly discovered by independent developers, is currently in the testing phase.
What is notable here is that highly criticized replies, i.e., disliked replies, will be pushed to the very bottom. The new feature appears to look like a broken heart icon.
No official statement has been made yet regarding this new button expected to be added to the platform.
