Google has announced that a new Safe Browsing update is coming for its Chrome web browser. With this update, the Safe Browsing system will no longer block or slow down the loading of certain pages.
There had been numerous complaints that this system, created to provide users with a safer internet experience, was increasing the loading time of website pages. Google has decided to put an end to this situation by taking these complaints into account.
ACCELERATING THE SAFE BROWSING SYSTEM
With the technology specifically developed by Google engineers called the Asynchronous Mechanism, the Chrome Safe Browsing system will perform security checks while the page is loading, without spending extra time. It has been announced that this new feature will arrive with the Chrome 122 update, which will be released next week.
Previously, a website would not open until the Safe Browsing check was completed. Now, this check will be performed much faster, allowing users to have a better Chrome experience without wasting their time.
