Microsoft announced earlier this week that version 22403, the latest version of the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and 11, has been released to all users via the Stable channel.
According to a report by Neowin, the new version brings significant improvements to the application's speed and performance and also includes various changes. Additionally, it was noted that a new feature has been added for Microsoft Store users, discovered earlier today, which makes already installed apps and games less visible on the home pages.
Rudy Huyn, Principal Architect at Microsoft and a member of the Microsoft Store development team, stated on his social media account that this feature was introduced to make it easier for users to discover new applications. Huyn noted that users who want to see the full list of algorithmic applications can do so by clicking on the module titles.
New: Applications and games already installed on your device will now be less visible/deprioritized on the home pages, making it easier for you to discover new apps!
