SMART RING AND AIRPODS WITH CAMERAS ARE COMING
Mark Gurman, known for his sources close to Apple, spoke about the company's future plans in his Power On newsletter.
According to Gurman, Apple is working on smart glasses in the style of Meta Ray-Bans with artificial intelligence features, a smart ring similar to the Galaxy Ring that provides health tracking for users who do not want to wear an Apple Watch, and AirPods equipped with a camera.
Gurman states that the smart ring and smart glasses projects are still in the early stages, while the AirPods project with a camera has reached more concrete phases.
According to this report, Apple began working on the AirPods project with a camera last year and designated the project's codename as B798. The goal of this project is to add low-resolution camera sensors to AirPods and provide users with basic smart glasses and artificial intelligence functions.
