Price hikes on Apple products
Following severe global shortages in chip and storage supply, Apple has implemented a major price update across its computers, tablets, and certain home technology products. Prices for the company's flagship iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods models remain unchanged for now.

In this period where hardware costs have reached record levels, Apple users have encountered new prices. The wave of price hikes that went into effect on the company's official store on Thursday brought significant increases to the price tags of MacBook, iMac, iPad, and home ecosystem products.
According to the updated price list from Apple, the starting price of the MacBook Neo has risen from 599 dollars to 699 dollars. The higher-end model of this series with Touch ID will now be sold for 799 dollars. The entry-level model of the popular MacBook Air has reached 1,299 dollars. The price of the 14-inch MacBook Pro, which attracts professional users, has become 1,999 dollars, while the price of the 16-inch model has been raised to 2,999 dollars.
The 16-inch MacBook Pro with top-tier hardware drew attention with its new 9,999 dollar price tag. On the desktop front, the entry-level iMac has risen to 1,499 dollars; those who want to use the performance-oriented Mac Studio will now pay 2,499 dollars.
Similar price increases are being applied in the tablet category. While the 11-inch iPad Pro has moved up from 999 dollars to 1,199 dollars, the 13-inch screen model will now be sold for 1,499 dollars. The new price of the mid-segment iPad Air has been set at 749 dollars. For those wanting more affordable alternatives, the base iPad has risen to 449 dollars; the iPad mini, which stands out with its compact design, has reached the 599 dollar level.
INCREASES CONTINUE IN HOME PRODUCTS AND VISION PRO
Following computers and tablets, home products and smart devices, which are increasingly taking up more space in the lives of Apple users, have also received their share of the hikes. While the price of the HomePod has risen to 349 dollars, the price of the HomePod mini has reached the 129 dollar level. The new price of the Apple TV box, which enhances the television viewing experience, has been updated to 199 dollars.
Another category that drew attention was Apple's mixed reality headset, Vision Pro. With the hikes applied to this product, the starting model has risen to 3,699 dollars, and the 1-terabyte capacity model has risen to 4,199 dollars.
This wave of price hikes across the wide product family that Apple offers to its users did not, however, affect some popular products. The company left its iPhone smartphones, Apple Watch series, and wireless headphone AirPods models outside of this price increase.
Technology and financial circles will closely monitor how these historic increases reflect on Apple's 2026 sales performance.
