Release date announced for EA Sports FC 27: Early access and platform details revealed

The expected schedule for EA Sports FC 27, the latest installment in the football game series, has been finalized. According to information shared by Electronic Arts, the Standard Edition of the game will be released worldwide on Friday, September 25, 2026.

For those who want to try the game earlier, the Ultimate and Ultimate Plus editions stand out. Players who choose these editions will be able to take advantage of up to seven days of early access, along with benefits specific to the edition.

PLATFORMS AND EDITIONS

EA Sports FC 27 is planned to be released with broad platform support. It has been announced that the game will be available to players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA app.

However, it was noted that the Ultimate Plus edition will not be available on Nintendo platforms or the Epic Games Store. The Ultimate and Standard editions will be offered with a wider range of platform options.

A free preview version called FC 27 Lite will also be made available on the game's release day. In this version, which will offer limited content, players will be able to try selected modes such as Kick-Off. FC 27 Lite is expected to be released on supported platforms on September 25, 2026, at 16:00 UTC.

There are differences in content and benefits among the edition options. In addition to early access, the Ultimate and Ultimate Plus packages include extra in-game content, FC Points and Premium Ticket benefits that vary by edition, and various additional content for Career mode and Football Ultimate Team.

The Standard edition provides access to the full version of the game and the core game modes. While it is stated that some bonus content may be offered depending on the pre-order period, it is emphasized that the content may vary based on the platform and the date of purchase.
