Amber will be launched with an annual production target of 50 thousand units and is drawing attention with its design. The car is being referred to by the public as the "Tesla Killer."
Amber electric vehicles will be assembled at the Avtator factory located in the Kaliningrad Oblast. This factory is known as a facility that previously assembled foreign cars such as Kia, BMW, and Ford. Avtator was one of the world's largest car manufacturers until 2008, but it had closed following the war in Ukraine.
Russia's domestically produced Amber is preparing to make an ambitious entry into the electric car market. Drawing attention with its design and mass production plans, this vehicle could contribute to the development of the Russian automotive sector, especially at a time when competition in electric car technology is increasing.
