Samsung held an event on Wednesday night, January 22, to introduce its Galaxy S series. During the event, following the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra models, a mysterious additional model called the Galaxy S25 Edge was unveiled unexpectedly. So, what are the features of the Galaxy S25 Edge? Why was it kept a secret? Here are the details.

FIRST LOOK AT THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S25 ULTRA

The S25 Edge, which was shown briefly during Galaxy Unpacked, drew attention with its slim design. While it appears to share design similarities with the S25, the S25 Edge seems poised to become a favorite of the S series due to one specific feature. According to initial reports, this model is stated to be only 6.4 mm thick. This indicates that it will be one of the thinnest flagship smartphones on the market.

Looking at the back of the phone, a dual-camera setup is visible. This camera setup will be enclosed within a frame. The reason for having two cameras appears to be related to maintaining the phone's thinness.

WHAT ARE ITS FEATURES?

During the launch, Samsung avoided providing information about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which was shown suspended in the air alongside two metal blocks. The Galaxy S25 Edge will be part of the flagship series, but it will not be available in every market initially. It is stated that this thin model will be released in "selected markets" rather than having a global launch at the same time as the other S25 models.
