The Informatics Association of Turkey (TBD) is organizing one of its most comprehensive events in the field of cybersecurity, the 8th Cybersecurity Ecosystem Development Summit, on June 12 at the BTK Main Conference Hall in Ankara. The theme of this year's summit is: “The Future Cybersecurity Ecosystem: Trust, Resilience, and Innovation.”

Digital attacks on critical infrastructure and the role of artificial intelligence in this field are at the forefront of the event. TBD draws attention to the fact that a “silent war” is ongoing, particularly in sectors such as energy, transportation, health, and finance.

Among the prominent sessions of the summit are;

  • The effects of AI-supported digital threats on physical systems
  • Evaluation of localization in cyber defense from the perspective of entrepreneurs and the public sector

TBD President Kenan Altınsaat stated, “Cyber defense is now a fundamental component of national security. With the increase in digital services, threat vectors have diversified. Domestic solutions are now a strategic necessity.”
