X's new audio and video calling feature may expose your IP address. A simple process is all it takes to solve this problem.

Our IP addresses, which are our public addresses on the internet, can be exposed through X's audio or video calling feature. However, solving this problem is quite simple.
X recently announced its video and audio calling features. This feature was enabled by default for everyone's profile. This created an environment where everyone can call and be called by each other. However, you do not have to put up with these calls. Furthermore, it should be noted that in these calls, the IP addresses of both the caller and the recipient are shared with the other party.
Preventing these calls is quite simple. You can block these calls with a two-step process.
You can follow these steps to turn off calls on X:
Open the X app on your smartphone.
Go to the direct messages section.
Tap the settings button at the top of the screen.
Turn off the "Enable audio and video calling" option.
It is also possible to make finer adjustments. The four options offered are:
Allow calls from people in your address book
Allow calls from people you follow
Verified users (users who pay for a subscription)
Everyone
After making these selections, you can also hide your IP addresses by activating the "Enhanced call privacy" option located at the bottom of the menu.
