A new addition has been made to the robots expected to revolutionize the field of healthcare; the world's smallest humanoid robot has been developed. This robot was designed by young people in Hong Kong and has managed to enter the Guinness World Records. It was stated that students named Aaron Ho Yat Fung, Isaac Zachary To, Justin Wang Tou Duong, and Ngo Hei Leung developed this robot at the Diocesan Boys' School (DBS) in Hong Kong.
In addition to having a tiny structure to meet the criteria set for the record, the developed robot possesses movement capabilities such as walking and rotating its limbs. Furthermore, it was stated that the robot's parts were produced using 3D printing.
The development team stated that the robot has abilities such as playing soccer, dancing, and even performing kung fu.
It was reported that a 7.4-volt lithium-ion battery is used as the robot's power source and that it can be controlled remotely via a mobile application.
