Türk Telekom will introduce its 5G mobile network and Industry 4.0 applications project at the Mobile World Congress, organized by the GSMA in Barcelona, Spain.
In collaboration with domestic technology firms i2i Systems, NaraXR, and IQVizyon, Türk Telekom will announce the project—the first domestic and national industrial 5G mobile network and Industry 4.0 application implemented in Ankara's industrial zone, OSTİM—at the Mobile World Congress.
Türk Telekom CEO Ümit Önal stated that they aim to spread their technological expertise to every area of life with a vision of creating value. Önal said, "We are proud to have implemented the 5G industrial mobile network project, which provides the appropriate infrastructure for new-generation technologies with our domestic and national ecosystem, marking a first in Turkey. With this project, we aim to lead the digital transformation of SMEs in the OSTİM ecosystem and contribute to increasing efficiency and quality in production."
OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) Chairman of the Board Orhan Aydın expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of this exemplary and innovative application for SMEs in the region, stating, "We congratulate the companies that contributed to this work, especially Türk Telekom, as well as i2i Systems, NaraXR, and IQVizyon, for their successful efforts. I would like to state that we will continue to contribute to their work from now on. The telecommunications sector is as critical an area as the defense industry. Producing national technologies in this field is important for the future of our country."
