WHAT IS MARKET.ORG?
Market.org is an application developed by TÜBİTAK under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology that makes shopping easier for consumers. By allowing price comparisons between products in chain supermarkets, this application will enable consumers to choose the most affordable market and shop accordingly. Product prices will be updated weekly to ensure accurate label prices are presented to consumers.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated in his announcement that the prices of approximately 50 thousand products found in chain supermarket branches will be included in the application. Minister Kacır expressed the following in his statement:
"We have opened the website, which is the product of the work we carried out through TÜBİTAK for the research of the Central Bank and other relevant public institutions, to the use and access of all our citizens. Thus, everyone will be able to see and compare the prices of nearly 50 thousand products in chain supermarket branches. Best of luck!"
