According to the report on Webtekno, the most important feature appearing in iOS 17.3 seems to be "Stolen Device Protection." This new feature will create a comprehensive security layer for iPhone owners. When the feature is enabled, FaceID or TouchID will be required to perform many operations.

Phone theft is one of the common problems we may face today. However, the only bad thing about such a situation is not just the theft of the phone. Thieves also access personal data on the phones they steal. As a result, many things happen, such as bank accounts being emptied and credit cards being issued without the owner's knowledge. iOS 17.3's Stolen Device Protection feature focuses on preventing all of this.

Users who activate the Stolen Device Protection feature will have to perform biometric verification for any operation that comes to mind, such as viewing saved passwords in Safari or resetting the phone to factory settings. If biometric verification cannot be performed, it will not be possible to access personal data on the phone.
