The world's most popular online video platform, YouTube, has been on the agenda for some time with a new ad display system. This new system involved showing static ads when videos are paused. The latest news reveals that YouTube's new ad system will become a part of our lives.

According to the report on Webtekno, YouTube first tested the new ad displays last year. However, there were no developments on the subject for a year. But speaking to The Verge, high-level YouTube official Oluwa Falodun confirmed that the ad display system in question will be shown to users who are not YouTube Premium subscribers.

YouTube's new ads will appear when a video is paused. When a user pauses a video they are watching, they will see the screen shrink and an ad begin to play. Oluwa Falodun stated that both advertisers and users support this method, and as such, they are rolling it out for widespread use.
