Artificial intelligence technology is one of the most prominent trends of recent years. While many technology companies are trying to establish a presence in this field, YouTube has now joined the craze.
The popular video platform has announced two new experimental generative AI features. YouTube Premium subscribers will soon be able to test AI-generated summaries and a chatbot that answers questions about the video being watched. These features will not be visible unless you are a paid member who has signed up for the experiments during the testing periods.
YouTube also stated that while implementing all of this, content containing blocked words or content from blocked users will not be pulled. Additionally, if content creators see problematic discussions about their videos, they will be able to use the tool to delete comments one by one.
YouTube Premium subscribers can use the new feature by enabling the comment summarizer on YouTube's experiments page. However, the company warns that this option will not be visible for all videos.
