29 teams have secured their spots in the Champions League

The list of teams that have qualified for the 2024/25 Champions League season has begun to take shape.

In addition to Inter and Bayer Leverkusen, who have secured their league titles, teams such as Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, PSV, and Feyenoord have also guaranteed their participation in the Champions League.

With the conclusion of the season in Europe, a total of 29 teams will have confirmed their spots in the Champions League. In addition to these teams, 7 more will earn the right to participate in the tournament through the play-off stage. Furthermore, the winners of this season's Champions League and Europa League will also earn direct entry into the new season.

Teams finishing in the top 4 of the Premier League, LaLiga, and the Bundesliga will also participate in the Champions League. Italy will be represented by 5 teams as it currently ranks first in the UEFA country coefficient rankings this season. The country in second place will also earn an extra spot, which will go to either Germany or England. The country ranked 5th according to the UEFA country coefficient rankings over the last 5 seasons, which is currently France, will also earn an extra spot for the new season.

Champions from countries outside Europe's top 5 leagues, such as Portugal, Belgium, Scotland, and Austria, will also have the right to direct entry.

The qualifying matches for the 2024/25 Champions League season will begin on July 9-10. Following three qualifying rounds, the teams that will join from the play-offs will be determined by matches played on August 20-21 and August 27-28. The draw for the season, which will feature a total of 36 teams, will be held on August 29, and the first matches will be played between September 17-19. The Champions League final will take place on May 31, 2025.
