3-match ban for Burak Yılmaz

The Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) has handed a 3-match ban to Gaziantep FK Manager Burak Yılmaz.

The decisions taken by the PFDK following today's meeting are as follows:

"Galatasaray is to be issued a warning in accordance with Article 53/2 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions (FDT) due to the ugly and offensive chanting by its fans during the Fethiyespor-Galatasaray Ziraat Turkish Cup match played on 13.01.2026, as this action was committed for the first time in the cup category while the club was the visiting team in the same season,

Gaziantep FK Manager Burak Yılmaz is to be banned from entering the locker room and the bench for 3 official matches and fined 80 thousand TL in accordance with Articles 41/1-c, 36/5-c, 35/4, and 10/2 of the FDT due to his insults and threats directed at match officials before and after his dismissal during the Gaziantep FK-Kocaelispor Ziraat Turkish Cup match played on 13.01.2026, (by majority vote)

In the same match, Gaziantep FK player Tayyip Talha Sanuç is to be suspended for 2 official matches in accordance with Article 43 of the FDT due to a serious foul against an opposing team player,

Fenerbahçe is to be issued a warning in accordance with Article 53/2 of the FDT due to the ugly and offensive chanting by its fans during the Beyoğlu Yeni Çarşı-Fenerbahçe Ziraat Turkish Cup match played on 14.01.2026, as this action was committed for the first time in the cup category while the club was the visiting team in the same season,

Gençlerbirliği Manager Metin Diyadin is to be banned from entering the locker room and the bench for 1 official match and fined 80 thousand TL in accordance with Articles 36/1-c and 35/4 of the FDT due to his unsportsmanlike conduct toward the match referee during the Antalyaspor-Gençlerbirliği Ziraat Turkish Cup match played on 14.01.2026, it has been decided."
