A new football team in Kayseri: Ötüken FK has been founded

A new football team has been founded in Kayseri. The club, which will compete in the 2nd Amateur League this season, has been named Ötüken Football Club.

Stating that they set out to bring new excitement to amateur sports in Kayseri, Ötüken FK Vice President Haşim Sorgun said their goal is to prioritize youth development and introduce the players they train to Turkish football. Ötüken Football Club, which will participate in the 2nd Amateur League fixture draw for the 2023-2024 season, will also compete in lower age groups.

The management of Ötüken Football Club, with Özkan Kütük serving as Club President, consists of the following names: Haşim Sorgun (Vice President), Ali Doğan (Member), Baykal Altay (Member), Çağrı Ercömert (Member), and Ömer Sorgun (Member).

Making statements regarding the new club, Vice President Haşim Sorgun said, "Our newly founded team's primary priority is to keep young people away from bad habits and introduce them to Turkish sports. We will participate in leagues in lower age categories and be a team entirely focused on youth. We will also develop a goalkeeper academy, which is a sore point for the amateur community, alongside the team, and in the long term, we will provide all the support we can to keep our young brothers and sisters who are inclined toward sports away from bad habits and convey the beautiful aspects of football to them. May our new club be auspicious for the Kayseri amateur football community."
