A new letter from Mert Hakan Yandaş to Fenerbahçe fans

Following allegations of betting and match-fixing,the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office led to the arrest ofFenerbahçefootballer Mert Hakan Yandaş, who was subsequently imprisonedat the Marmara Prison in Silivri.wassent.

Yandaş, in the letter he wrotefrom here, to the fansaddressedHe thanked them for their support.

“TO MY DEAR FENERBAHÇE FAMILY AND FOOTBALL FAMILY

First of all, I wish everyone a happy new year. Although I feel the sadness of entering the new year away from my family, I sincerely hope that you spend a year full of love, peace, and health with your own families.

In the past daSince the letter I sent in thedays following, your support and thepositive feedbackhave reached me, and I want you to know that knowing you stand behind me and have not left me alone gives megreat strength.I want you to know this. THROUGHOUT the time I have worn the FENERBAHÇE jersey, I have been at the forefront of every battle and done my best for my club. Sometimes it went well, sometimes poorly.difficultprocesses occurred. But neither I nor you, the great FENERBAHÇE community,have ever bowedour heads, and I have not been, nor will I ever be, a part ofanythingthat would cause us to do so...
