A sad day for Ahmet Nur Çebi

The funeral of Özdemir Yazıcı, the late father-in-law of Beşiktaş Club President Ahmet Nur Çebi, was held in Karabük.

Yazıcı, 88, who had been receiving treatment for health issues at a private hospital in Karabük for some time, passed away yesterday. His body was brought to the Şirinevler Mosque.

Following the funeral prayer held there, Yazıcı was laid to rest at the Öğlebeli Family Cemetery.

In addition to Yazıcı's family and Çebi, the funeral was attended by Karabük Governor Mustafa Yavuz, Chairman of the TBMM Interior Affairs Commission and AK Party Istanbul Deputy Süleyman Soylu, Mayor Rafet Vergili, protocol members, heads of non-governmental organizations and political parties, and citizens.
