A sad day for Beşiktaş

Suat Taştan, a former Beşiktaş football player who served as the administrative manager for the black-and-white club's youth academy, has passed away.

In a statement regarding Taştan's passing, Beşiktaş said, "It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of Suat Taştan, the administrative manager of our Football Academy, who also served our club for many years as a player. We wish God's mercy upon Suat Taştan and extend our condolences to his family, loved ones, and our community."

WHO IS SUAT TAŞTAN?

Born in Samsun in 1954, Suat Taştan played for Beşiktaş for 5 years after transferring from Kütahyaspor in 1973. Taştan, who left the black-and-white team for Edirnespor in 1978, also made one appearance for the U18 National Team.
