Beşiktaş Club has announced that Muhammet Şahin, the grandfather of their player Semih Kılıçsoy, has passed away.
The following statement was included in the death and condolence announcement shared on the club's website:
"We have learned with great sadness that our footballer Semih Kılıçsoy's grandfather, Muhammet Şahin, has passed away. The funeral of Muhammet Şahin will be laid to rest following the funeral prayer to be held at the Arnavutköy Haraççı Central Mosque today after the noon prayer. We wish God's mercy upon the deceased and extend our condolences to his family, relatives, and loved ones."
