It has emerged that Galatasaray still owes money to the green-and-white club regarding the transfer of Abdülkerim Bardakcı, whom they signed from Konyaspor at the beginning of the 2022/2023 season for 2.8 million Euros.
Speaking on KonTV, Konyaspor President Ömer Korkmaz stated that they are owed money from the Abdülkerim Bardakcı transfer and that they have sent a formal notice to Galatasaray.

Korkmaz stated, "We have outstanding payments from the Galatasaray club regarding the Abdülkerim Bardakcı transfer. Because of this, we sent a formal notice. We have indicated that we will file a lawsuit if we do not receive our money."
