In the 34th week of the Süper Lig, Trabzonspor faced Gaziantep FK. Closing the first half of the match 2-0 behind, Trabzonspor managed to leave the match with a victory thanks to a magnificent comeback in the second half.

Following the victory, Trabzonspor's experienced manager Abdullah Avcı spoke.

Here are Abdullah Avcı's statements:

WE NEED OUR FANS VERY MUCH

"I wasn't here last year for the anniversary of the championship. I hope we can stay at those levels. Trabzonspor is a great community, with trophies, championships... We played matches back-to-back in January and it was a painful process. As I said back then, I said 'Trabzonspor continues with its persistence.' Today we see the development in the players. We started making early final passes in the first half and the Antep team capitalized on them. We have an identity that doesn't make warm contact when the ball is with the opponent; we will improve this starting next year, hopefully. The right game pays off. The goals came one after another. Trabzonspor is incomplete without its fans. We need them very much. I hope they won't leave us alone next season. I also wish Coach Selçuk success."
