Trabzonspor manager Abdullah Avcı made statements following the victory against Konyaspor.

Avcı said, "It is tiring. Here is how it is; we worked on whether the opponent would play with a back five or a back four, how they would meet us, what we needed to do here, and which options we needed to use. Sometimes you might not be able to use this. Sometimes a player makes a passing error. This is the technical-tactical dimension. This job is about energy. Today, information came during the warm-up that the team's energy was low. So what happened in a week? I have been warning for 4 days that it would be a difficult match. That a very difficult match was waiting for us... We thought about every detail. In the second half, we only made a technical change. We caught some transitions and found the goal. But the goal we conceded, there is elementary school, and before that, there is preschool... A pass like that is not thrown to a player with their back turned. And a player with their back turned does not go in there and receive that pass. We have to work on all of these over and over again. This is a bit tiring, but there is nothing to do, this is our job."

Abdullah Avcı continued his words, "If we can win while seeing these things, this is valuable for us. Winning and developing are important. This game is about energy, emotion, and enthusiasm, but there is also intellect. You cannot play with your emotions. We are not playing in a schoolyard. There is a plan, there is an organization. We won this way, we were better in the second half. Is it enough? No. We need to work hard and play faster. We need to increase player quality. We will work hard, we will do repetitions. I think we will be better."
