Abdullah Avcı: "We want to take the Turkish Cup to our museum for the 10th time"

Trabzonspor manager Abdullah Avcı made statements at the press conference held after the semi-final second leg match against Fatih Karagümrük at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, which they won 4-0 to advance to the next round.

Expressing that they have had an up-and-down season, Avcı said, "It was one of the most important matches of the season for us. The reachable goals we set were finishing third in the league and winning the Turkish Cup. Trabzonspor is one of the strongest teams in this country. We want to take the Turkish Cup, which we have won 9 times in our history, to our museum for the 10th time," he said.

Stating that they are happy to have won and advanced, the experienced manager said, "One of our goals was to reach the final. We are happy to have achieved this. This will be my third Turkish Cup final in my career. I hope we get the reward for this. In Trabzonspor's history, Ahmet Suat Özyazıcı was a manager who won all the trophies. I hope this will be my fate as well," he said.
