According to a report by T24, Aboubakar's actual reason for going to Paris was not for his wife, but to get a hair transplant. When the new management learned of these visits, which he made twice without permission, Aboubakar was removed from the Beşiktaş squad.
Aboubakar, who was excluded from the squad following the Fenerbahçe derby, was among the players including Valentine Rosier, Eric Bailly, Rachid Ghezzal, and Jean Onana.
