Acun Ilıcalı makes statements on Abdülkadir Ömür and Ryan Kent! What is the latest on transfers?

Hull City owner Acun Ilıcalı, from the English Championship, made statements on the 'Beyaz Futbol' program broadcast on Beyaz TV.

STATEMENT ON ABDÜLKADİR ÖMÜR

Stating that transfer efforts are ongoing at Hull City, Ilıcalı said, "As Hull City, we achieved an important victory by beating Sunderland. We had 6 players missing, and there is no match in England for 2 weeks now. 4 of them are returning to the team, hopefully we will qualify for the play-offs. New transfers will also come, the football we are playing is promising."

Stating that negotiations with national footballer Abdülkadir Ömür, who was excluded from the squad at Trabzonspor, are progressing positively, Ilıcalı said, "Our contacts with Abdülkadir Ömür continue. Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan is being very helpful, thank you to him. Abdülkadir wants to play abroad, and I also think Abdülkadir has the potential to be transferred to other teams for a very high amount. We want to finalize this transfer with a high sell-on clause for Trabzonspor as well. We want Trabzonspor to benefit too. Negotiations are continuing positively, but we have not signed yet. We are not considering any other transfers from Turkey."

Stating that they had spoken with Fenerbahçe's English footballer Ryan Kent but halted negotiations because they did not see the player's desire, Acun Ilıcalı said, "As for the Ryan Kent issue, this point is important; desires such as willingness, appetite, and the desire to play are important. Just as this exists in Abdülkadir, and it also exists in Ozan, who became a fan favorite. We did not see this appetite in Ryan Kent and turned to another footballer."

It was not a subject we were very enthusiastic about, so we made an extremely low bid. TRT won the tender, and I congratulate them. They have new platforms and want to promote them. They are thinking of broadcasting on an open channel; we cannot broadcast on an open channel, I do not have that power. Broadcasting on an open channel will be good for football fans."
