Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu made significant statements to journalist Bahar Feyzan.

Stating that he would not resign following the National Team's early exit from the World Cup, Hacıosmanoğlu announced that he would file a criminal complaint against former referee and football commentator Ahmet Çakar.

Hacıosmanoğlu said, "Ahmet Çakar said 'they are not our boys, they are someone else's children.' These children have families. I made most of the self-criticism, but what does 'someone else's child' mean? Did these children throw a match? I have had a file prepared for the one who said 'someone else's child' (Ahmet Çakar). I will file a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office."

Following these remarks by Hacıosmanoğlu, the response from Ahmet Çakar was not long in coming.

Quoting Bahar Feyzan's post, Çakar stated the following:

"Ms. Bahar,

If what you have written is true, that is, if TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu has complained about me to Minister of Justice Mr. Akın Gürlek due to my harsh criticisms, and if he has used expressions like 'hyena' and 'vulture' for me and those like me who harshly criticize the National Team, then Mr. Hacıosmanoğlu should not have said to this old hyena two years ago, 'Ahmet, my teacher, please give me your signature, you light the fire so I can become TFF President.'

It is not over…

Just as he explained to some people what Dursun Özbek's phrase 'Don't you dare!' meant, he will share it with the public, or he will not play deaf or play dead regarding Hakan Safi's sentence, 'I was the one who brought in the foreign referee,' and the negotiations he held with the National Team captain days before the World Cup."
