Ahmet Nur Çebi announces his decision on candidacy at Beşiktaş

Beşiktaş Club President Ahmet Nur Çebi has made his highly anticipated announcement regarding his candidacy.

Çebi stated the following:

"WE ENCOUNTERED THE SAME THINGS AGAIN"

"We came to this club as second president. During my 7th year as second president, while we were struggling with foreclosures and financial problems during the FEDA period, we had 2 championships and an undefeated run in European cups during the time I managed the football branch. Then I took a 1-year break. We aspired to the presidential seat. They deemed me worthy of this duty. We came to office with 68% of the votes. We encountered the same things again. We felt the need to fight against difficulties similar to the FEDA period, difficulties that had increased."

"I WILL NOT BE A CANDIDATE"

"We are in a difficult situation. Stemming from football... I have experienced its sadness and pain. After this point, I have decided not to be a candidate because I believe the community needs peace. The community needs a change of blood and energy."
