Ajax parts ways with John Heitinga
Dutch club Ajax has terminated the contract of head coach John Heitinga following their 3-0 defeat to Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League.

The bill for Ajax's 3-0 home defeat to Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League has been paid by the head coach.
In a statement released by the Dutch club, it was announced that the contracts of John Heitinga and assistant coach Marcel Keizer have been terminated.
Ajax announced that Fred Grim will take charge of the team in place of John Heitinga.
