A surprise resignation has come from Fenerbahçe, which is continuing its preparations for the new season.
Okan Özkan, who served as assistant sporting director for the last two seasons and was appointed as Football Coordinator this season, has resigned.
According to Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Özkan has submitted his resignation to the club.
Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç had used words of praise for Özkan during his speech on a live broadcast on TRT Spor on May 7. Koç had said, "Okan Özkan is being trained as the best Sporting Director in Turkey, I can tell you that right now..."
