A striking allegation has emerged in the "betting scandal" announced by the TFF and the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It has been claimed that MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu, who is expected to resign from his post, has an account on a betting platform.

Journalist Murat Ağırel announced that Central Referee Board (MHK) President Ferhat Gündoğdu also has a betting site membership.

In his statement on the Onlartv program, Ağırel said, "I asked the authorities about this claim; my friend, the MHK President is a member of a betting site. They just sent me the image; he has a membership on a site where bets can be placed."

Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu had announced that 371 out of 571 referees serving in professional leagues had betting accounts, and 152 of them were actively placing bets.
