It has been alleged that tension occurred within the management at Galatasaray following the pre-season friendly matches and the draw against Çorumspor. Amidst a period of increasing criticism from fans, it was suggested that board member Abdullah Kavukcu had reached the point of resignation.

According to a report by Sabah, Kavukcu, who had disagreements with President Dursun Özbek on certain issues during the transfer window, considered stepping down from his position. It was stated that following this development within the club, Özbek intervened.

According to the claim, Özbek persuaded Kavukcu to change his decision during a face-to-face meeting held in Kemerburgaz. Thus, it was stated that a potential crisis within the management was averted for the time being.

Abdullah Kavukcu, who served as the deputy chairman of Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş. last season, had recently come to the fore, particularly for his role in the Victor Osimhen transfer. Kavukcu had joined the yellow-red club's management in the last election.

No official statement has been made by the Galatasaray side regarding the allegations.
