Italian journalist Fabrizio Corona has shared details of the betting operation that has shaken Italian football.
Claiming that there is evidence that Nicola Zalewski placed bets on tennis matches, Corona stated that there are audio recordings showing that Nicolo Zaniolo engaged in gambling.
In his statement, Corona used the following expressions:
"Zalewski has been gambling for years. He is very good friends with El Shaarawy, Zaniolo, and this whole group. We have wiretap recordings showing that Zaniolo was gambling.
Did you see Fagioli saying that all under-21 players gamble? We were right. On RAI 3, there was a video of Zaniolo's voice, where Zalewski was hitting the ball at the Blu Lounge, talking about tennis and Djokovic, and asking Anto how much he had bet.
