Fatih Tekke, who currently manages Alanyaspor in the Süper Lig, stated in his remarks following the Fenerbahçe match: "I am from Trabzon, I am a Trabzonspor supporter. I don't know when a return to the home club might happen. It is a hot topic right now, we will see what happens next."
While negotiations are ongoing, Fatih Tekke's cousin, Kenan Tekke, made a striking statement on his social media account.
Tekke alleged that Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan called Fatih Tekke, that Fatih Tekke accepted the offer, but that Doğan later backed out of the agreement due to 'political pressures'.
