The management crisis at Altay, which competes in the 3rd League, is entering a new phase. Club President Sinan Kanlı announced that they have been unable to find investors during the 3.5-month period following the end of the season and that they will apply to the competent court on Monday to step down from their duties.

Kanlı stated that an Istanbul-based working group, which had been conducting efforts to form a management team for the 112-year-old İzmir club, also provided a negative response. Following this development, it was stated that the appointment of a trustee to the club has come to the agenda.

President Kanlı noted that the trustee management to be appointed will take the club to a general assembly as its first order of business, and called on groups considering candidacy to intensify their preparations in this direction.

Altay President Sinan Kanlı used the following expressions:

I specifically request that groups intending to run for management transfer resources to the club, and that our community contribute to the club through a collective effort during this process to ensure that training sessions can begin.

Emphasizing that Altay is going through difficult days, Kanlı said he believes the strength to get the club back on its feet exists within the community. He also expressed that he will continue to provide whatever support he can on his own behalf.
